Setting Up the Linksys EA6900 Router Using the Smart Setup Wizard
You can easily perform Linksys ea6900 setup on your computer using the Smart Setup Wizard. To know about it follow the steps below:
Make sure the internet connection is active. After that, if the router has external antennas, connect them to the router and then connect the router to the power supply outlet.
Ensure that the power button is set to ON if the router has a power switch. Now, wait until the light is solid.
After doing this, using the Ethernet cable, connect the modem to the router’s Internet port or WAN port.
Connect the computer to the WiFi. Once the system connects, open a web browser from your computer. On the web browser, type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and then hit the Enter button to access the Smart WiFi Setup window.
On the Smart WiFi Setup window, mark the box next to the “I have read and accepted the License Terms for using this software” option and then click on Next.
Once you are in the ‘Updates for your router’ window, tick on the ‘Install future router updates automatically (recommended)’ option. After that, click on Next.
Now, the Name your WiFi window will display. Type the WiFi Name and WiFi Password in the WiFi name and password box and then click on Next.

At first, connect the modem to the router’s Internet port or WAN port. Then connect the router to the computer’s Ethernet port using an Ethernet cable. Now the computer and modem should be successfully connected to the router.
After connecting them, launch a web browser from your PC. Type 192.168.1.1 in the Address bar and then press the Enter button.
In the Login page, type the Password which is Admin in the Password field and leave the Username blank. After that, click on the Login option to enter the setup page.
